Angela is the Chief Executive Director and has a strong commitment to mentoring and community initiatives.

Growing up in Los Angeles, resources were limited for brown skinned girls. As an adult, she developed a passion for mentoring young women by spending quality time, offering compassion, wisdom, and guidance.
Embracing her passion, she founded Queens With Goals, Inc. (QWG) in 2015; a nonprofit organization mentoring young women of color, providing a platform of progressive opportunities towards improving and achieving their life goals.
Her professional experience encompasses over 25 years of Management, Marketing, Human Resources, and Accounting and she currently works at one of the largest Fortune 500 insurance companies in the nation.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and a Professional Certificate in Operations Management from the University of Phoenix.

Yvette Gholar, President
Yvette is the Chief Operations Director for Queens With Goals, Inc. (QWG). Her primary function is creating public awareness initiatives to ensure the organization is visible to the community and those interested in assisting the organization's donations efforts.

Yvette was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and joined QWG in April 2016 to mentor young women who need help with building self-esteem and self-worth by encouraging them to garner a positive outlook on life.
She is currently employed with the Los Angeles Unified School District for 26 years as a Multimedia Designer.
Yvette holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne and a Master's Degree in Education from Cal State University Los Angeles.

Patricia is the Director of Finance for Queens With Goals, Inc. (QWG). Her primary responsibility is managing the organization’s financial planning and reporting.

Patricia is the Director of Finance for Queens With Goals, Inc. (QWG). Her primary responsibility is managing the organization’s financial planning and reporting.
As a recipient of mentoring from her loving mother and two aunts who were also committed to change and helping others, she understands the benefits of mentoring and is committed to a life of giving. She lives by the motto "pay it forward" and seeks to be a force for good in the world. Mentoring contributes to that goal. Patricia enjoys a successful career in the insurance industry and worked 25 years for the largest Fortune 500 insurance company in the nation.
Her career has been dedicated to excellence by helping others live their best life. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Cheyney State University in Cheyney, Pennsylvania.

Heaven is the Mentor Director for Queens With Goals, Inc. (QWG). Her primary responsibility is to facilitate the mentor/mentee onboarding process by accessing the mentee's needs and the mentor's strengths aligning them accordingly to create a successful relationship.
Heaven's experience as a mental health professional engages in activities focused on mental and emotional wellness, behavioral health, and social justice. Her skillsets forms a perfect alliance to support the organization's mentorship dynamics for growth and development stimulation.
Heaven is currently employed at the Weber Community Center as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the African and African American Adult program, where she works diligently to provide mental health services, designed to encourage healthy growth and development in underserved African and African American communities. She also works with children and adolescent youth to create safe spaces for them to explore their lived experiences, by providing them tools to foster their own empowerment, wholeness, and healing. Her background and experience is an asset to the organization's initiatives.
Heaven received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Marketing from Cal-State Long Beach and a Master’s degree from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena CA.

She has 19 years as a licensed cosmetologist which lends to her commitment to service.

Stacey is the Director of Events for Queens With Goals, Inc. (QWG). She is responsible for the management and coordination of the organization's program activities and fundraising efforts. Her role comprises of developing sponsorship arrangements and relationships with businesses, individuals, and organizations interested in supporting QWG's events and activities.
Stacey joined QWG as a mentor inspiring several mentees. She is very passionate about the ongoing issues of homelessness, hunger, racial discrimination, and violence against women and children. Eager for change, she devotes her time to QWG to support fundraising solutions. Stacey’s background includes 25 years of Accounts Management experience for several production and entertainment travel companies.
